I took a look around in the MOD and I gotta say it looks awesome.
Good job everyone involved!

I'm curious to see how you will approach the balance issue of Range/Casters vs Melee/Sneakers.

You're all smart people and I'm sure you'll find a clever way to work out the issues I never managed to.

Looks good so far, to early to state to much, but by the looks now i think pure mages getting shafted.

And imo you did great on your server, and i know iam not the only one, else i wouldnt play there for so long.
And you compete and get players to play on your server instead of all the 1000000 mmos that are so popular this days, that gotta mean something.

Gear is also a thing that i noticed on pretty much every server i played on, in the end when people get the best you can really tell the diffrence, most crafted gear (even the best) gets easely replace by shop items, or else there is to heavy of some sort of items, like way to much spot/listen, or hide/ms. Or you getting your saves sky high from just items.
Or simply some gears missing.

As i see it now, on pretty much every server like this kind is:
A: People take a cleric level to use heal scrolls
B: Any class with UMD to use scrolls (specialy heal scrolls)
C: Monk for the sick speed

I have my monk on your server, and yeah its fun, you really dont need any heal scrolls, and in pve you really fool all the mobs with the speed, they can barely react to it, kinda messed up if you ask me =)

All in all, i woulnt mind having people rely less on monk speed and heal scrolls.
And rely more on other players.

"Damn, we gona have it hard today to assault xxxxx fort, no cleric awake"

"Hold on mate, i just gona buy another 20 heal scrolls and we are good to go"

And one of the most important things, DM's *smiles*, a RP server without somewhat active DM's will get boring.

Becouse no matter how things are made, with DM's you get changes, not the same things over and over.

I'm curious as to why you think pure mages are being shafted, why you need umd / cleric levels and why you need monk levels.

DM's will be about abit more once the 'fix list' tones down abit though, I'm sure. Though we've run a fair few quests (I think I've done 12 and that's just me.) since the server went live.

I'm going to be a pure wizard again because that's the only class I know how to roleplay well. I'll suck in pvp, but at least I'll pwn monsters, and will be able to create custom scrolls, potions, and wands.

No, I just know how many I've done haha. It hasnt been that long since the servers been up - just dont ask me in a couple of weeks. The answer will be "umm, alot?".

:S Why am I always never present when said quests are being run? /sigh. Right. When I get back onto Anphillia, I'm staying logged in and active for 24 hours.
