I think it lacks weigth reduction and +1regeneration... 'cause all the other armors and shields made of mithril provide that.

The item weight reduction has been added to exceptional large mithril shields, and will be in with the next update.

Excelent! And the +1 regeneration? (you know the fairytale about the cavewomen, who want just one finger of the baby, and when the baby offers one finger, they grab the whole hand...) :-)

Okay, I just checked and I was wrong. None of mithral shields have +1 regen :-)
