Racial ability does not apply to monk gloves

Half-orcs having the racial ability in crafting menu, I think its called "bloodline frenzy" or such, requires to have an item equipped in hand. So the racial ability can not be applied at all in case of half-orc monk not wielding anything in weapon- or shield-slot. I don't exactly remember the message it gives when trying to use the ability, but can post it hare later if needed.
