Grim's pass ogre mage's cone attack.

The ogre mages in grims pass have a red cone offensive spell that appears to do absolutely nothing other than look pretty.

I don't have spellcraft (yet!) so I can't figure out which spell it is, but if you've ever been through grims, you'll know!

Same for the Brie Valley ogre mages. I thought I was just really lucky with SR checks, but the spell never did anything.

Yeah. It looks so convincing you can't be helped for thinking you're just getting lucky until you actually get down and test it.

Yeah, this one was reported to me recently. The spell is shadowblend.

A ogre mage in brie did cast metor, was kinda supriced, never seen that before. Not sure if it was a scroll tho.
Otherwise they just shadowblend and heal.
