To the loyal subjects of Cleaven,
As I'm sure you're all well aware - the recent attacks by strange mechanoids and dragon-infused half-orcs have ceased. It can only be said that in some part of their mission to Condors scream, the most elite of the Cleaven regiment have been successfull. However, we have heard no word of their status - it has been a month now and we can only presume them dead.
We have reason to believe that the Axfell, we so gallantly paired and made truce with to fight this greater evil, has betrayed us - and the truce they so willingly made. A few Cleaven survivors returned from the Scream, they however, sadly passed away - despite the best effort of our Healers. The cause of death has been affirmed to be the same poison which has killed many of our Militia in the past. An Axfell made posion.
It saddens my heart to write these words, but it would be foolish to continue with this truce with what we now know. It seems the path of righteousness and good is simply too hard to travel for the Axfell. We must rebuild our shattered council and purge the Axfell from the land.
